You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Many people reach out for therapy during times when life feels overwhelming, confusing, or simply heavier than it used to feel. You might be struggling with anxiety, burnout, difficult life transitions, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
For some people, these challenges arise or resurface during pregnancy or early parenthood. For others, it might involve long-standing patterns such as perfectionism, difficult relationships with food or body image, or feeling stuck in cycles that are hard to change alone.
Whatever has brought you here, you deserve a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported.
I’m Thérèse, a clinical and perinatal psychologist based in Spring Hill and Norman Park, Brisbane and via telehealth Australia-wide. I work with adolescents and adults to help them better understand themselves, navigate difficult emotions, and make meaningful changes that support long-term wellbeing. I have a bachelor degree in psychological science and a Master in Clinical Psychology. I am a board-approved psychology supervisor and member of the Australian Psychological Society. I’m also an ANZAED Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapies. Together, we work to make sense of what you're experiencing and develop a plan to help you move toward the life you want to live.
I have a particular interest in supporting pregnant and post-partum mothers who are experiencing a range of concerns, including disordered eating and body image issues.
When I'm not at work, I am usually at the park with my two young girls, going on picnics or bike rides, daydreaming about travel, and stopping my dogs and children destroying household items.

I provide psychological support to adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges.
People often seek support when they’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or finding it difficult to navigate certain life experiences on their own. I work with individuals experiencing:

I offer perinatal psychology appointments on Thursday mornings at Gather by Kindred, located at 130 Bennetts Road in Norman Park.
Gather by Kindred, is a warm, welcoming space designed with parents and babies in mind, with free parking and baby-change facilities available. You are always welcome to bring your baby.
I have completed additional training in perinatal mental health and am a registered practitioner with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE). I’m also a non-directive pregnancy counselling provider and a trained Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P) facilitator.
I support expecting and new parents who may be experiencing:
My aim is to provide a compassionate and supportive space where parents can talk openly about their experiences and feel understood during what can be both a meaningful and challenging stage of life.
I take a warm, collaborative approach to therapy and work closely with clients to tailor treatment to their individual needs, experiences, and goals. I aim to create a space where people feel safe, respected, and understood, and where we can work together to make sense of what they’re going through and move toward meaningful change.
My work is guided by a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and LGBTQI+ inclusive perspective, and I strive to ensure that therapy feels supportive, compassionate, and responsive to each person’s unique context and identity.
I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including:
When working with eating disorders, I draw from:
If you’re unsure whether therapy might be helpful, that’s completely okay. Many people feel uncertain before their first appointment, and we can take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
